Vicki Miller Obituary
She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Thomas “Tom” Mason on Sept. 22, 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Childs; her parents, Thomas and Patricia Mason; and her husband, Robby Miller, all of Northport; her brother, Steven Mason (Trully), and her nephews, Isaiah and Micah Mason, all of Palm Harbor, Fla.; her aunt, Shirley Brown; her uncles, Ronnie Mason (Linda) and Michael Mason (Kim); and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
Vicki was born September 14, 1965, at Mobile Infirmary and grew up in a military family. She was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School Class of 1983 where she was a cheerleader. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988 with a B.S. in accounting.
Pallbearers will be Ron Mason, Chuck Brown, Tuffy Holland, Bill Miller, Jake Miller, and Michael Mason.
Honorary pallbearers are Becky Hilty, Donna Smith, Margaret and Dan Livingston, Bonnie Branyon, Jerome Rivers, Nathan and Allison Hannah, all former coworkers of the City of Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama, John Childs, and the Belt family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Cornelius Chapel Cemetery Fund, 16196 Cornelius Church Road, Buhl, AL 35446; or Northport Baptist Church Building Fund.

My name is Donna Champion Weaver. I met Vicki in 1980 when we started TCHS in the 10th grade. One thing I remembered about Vicki was one of our proms, Vicki and several girls wanted to be different so they wore tuxs to the prom instead of dresses. So cute. Gonna miss you girl. Love, Donna

Mr & Mrs Mason and entire family loved ones. I would like to convey my most deepest heart warming compassion to you all. I just found out this evening of Vickies passing. I have thought of her over the years. She was always a very good friend from our High School years and always had such a wonderful upbeat personality and attitude which will be deeply missed. She always had a kind heart and lovely smile. We have all been blessed to have known Vickie. She will be missed by my entire family. Ms. Pat my heart breaks for you, Mr. Tom, Christine, and Steve. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. Praying for God to surround each of you with his presence and love. Praying for him to fill you with comfort, strength, and Peace that passes all understanding.
