Zena was born January 17, 1927 in Perth Australia to Arthur and Maud Haigh and entered into eternal rest with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family July 11, 2013 in Willis, Texas. Zena and husband Gilbert where owners of Stagg Body Shop in Conroe, Texas for approximately 30 years. After retirement Zena moved to Willis, Texas where she enjoyed painting, knitting, working outside with her plants and spending time with her family. Zena loved the Lord and served Him for many years as a member of New Horizon Church of The Nazarene. Zena, also known as, "Mom" by many, will be remembered as a kind, caring mother, grandmother, mentor and friend. Her love and compassion for people was easily seen through her willingness to always help someone in need. The one thing that Zena treasured the most was her family; she loved all of her "kids". We all remember those visits to her house where we all would go to seek her wisdom and advice, and listen to all the stories from her past. Zena was a big influence in the lives of her family and we will truly miss the beautiful person she was. Everyone will cherish the memories of her; we love you, Mom and Mawmaw! Zena is preceded in death by her father Arthur Haigh, mother Maud Haigh; husband Gilbert Stagg and son Dean Stagg. Zena is survived by her son Jimmy Stagg, daughter Lorna Brown and husband Willie, godchild Jeanette Dolman, cousins Collin Dolman, Lorna Colpitt and husband Ray and sister-in-law Bernice Johnson. Grandchildren, Arthur Stagg and wife Cathy, Anthony Stagg, Heath Stagg, Conley Stagg, Jeremy Stagg and wife Angela, Rosezena Davis and husband Ricky, Michael Stagg and wife Kendra and Stacy McBane and husband Billy. Great-grandchildren Ashley, Joshua, AJ, Bryce, Kayla, Emilee, Katie, Kaylynn, Kaleb, Koleson, Michael Joe Jr., Cheyenne, Sierra, Blake, Levi, Caleb, Autumn, Jacob and Kaylyn; Great-Great granddaughter Sandra, and numerous other relatives and friends.
