David Dworken Obituary

David M. Dworken, a Lake County attorney and co-founding partner of the law firm Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A. passed away March 16, 2011.
In 1960, David Dworken and Howard Bernstein opened the Lake County office of Dworken & Bernstein over Brown's Furniture Store on State Street in Painesville.
The Painesville office was initially a satellite office, and was not staffed on a full-time basis. The prior year, the firm had officially opened in the Standard Building in Cleveland. Dworken and Bernstein has grown over the years and is now the largest law firm in Lake County, employing approximately 70 individuals, including 23 attorneys.
David Dworken was the dearly beloved husband of Muriel (nee Resnick); devoted father of Cheryl Senkfor (David), Elisa Rabb (Howard), Stacey Berebitsky (Adam) and Tammy Levy (Steve); and cherished grandfather of Rachel, Ariel, Ethan, Erin, Lindsey, Corey, Justin and Jamie. His dear brother, Marvin (Bobbi) Dworken was also one of the original partners of the firm.
Contributions are suggested to the Lake County Bar Foundation, 25 N. Park Place, No. 2, Painesville, OH 44077-3416.
