Joanne Rasmussen Obituary
She was born Feb. 26, 1938, in Cleveland.
Joanne was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wickliffe, an alumni of Andrews School, where she was valedictorian of her class and Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, where she enjoyed socializing with her sorority sisters. She was also very devoted to her family and friends.
Mrs. Rasmussen had worked as an insurance agent and had also served as a dorm mother at Andrews School in Willoughby.
She was the loving mother of Micki (Parker) McKenzie, Paula Miller and Natalie Harman; and cherished grandmother of Megan and Nicholas Miller and Jason Harmon Jr.
Joanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Rasmussen; grandson, Alexander Martin; and parents, Clarence Carl and Anna Josephine (nee Harris) Lindeman.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a celebration of life service at 7:30 p.m. Joanne will be laid to rest peacefully with her husband, Kenneth in Mentor Cemetery.
