Egger, also of Ilion, NY in 1943 and with her, raised a daughter, now Christine LaVoie of Ormond Beach, and a son, Fred of Wilmington, NC. He was an amateur radio enthusiast from 1993, an avid and skilled Bridge player, and a golfer with membership at Riviera Country Club. He enjoyed his gardening, loved his dogs, and had served as Treasurer of the Friends of the Ormond Beach Library. He is survived by his wife Bernice; daughter, Christine LaVoie and her husband George; son, Fred Jackson and his wife Ana Maria; granddaughter, Leslie Ann Jackson of Raleigh, NC, granddaughter, Tanya Beth Midyette and her husband Jack of Wake Forest, NC and Tanya and Jack's children Samantha and Gregory.
