Jack left a very impressive list of accomplishments in the boat manufacturing and international boat safety fields. Not only that, but I actually can't think of anybody who was a nicer guy than Jack. I'm very saddened by Jack's passing, as I had hoped to get to know this amiable fellow UofM NAME alumnus better when I retired.

Jack was a dear friend and teacher. We shared many adventures. I always learned more than I contributed. He will be missed.

Please pass on my best wishes to Ski and Ken, Dick Kemp, [email protected]. Their father was a great engineer and person. I learned a great deal working with him in Texas.
