ETHAN LINEBERRY Obituary
Ethan Winford Lineberry, 79, of Goode died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his residence. Born in Galax, Virginia, on March 26, 1931, a son of the late Rixey Ethan Lineberry and Annie Elizabeth Lundy Lineberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Ninette Lineberry.
Ethan is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty C. Lineberry; two sons, Trevor Lineberry and his wife, Debbie of Moneta and Rixey Lineberry and his wife, Jody of Bedford; 5 grandchildren, Jared Lineberry and his wife, Kristin, Jordan Lineberry, Tara Troutman and her husband, Jeremia, Brooke Lineberry and Jessica Rorer and her husband, Stephen; two great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Bryson; two brothers, Thomas L. Lineberry and his wife, Delores of Galax, and Chris D. Lineberry and his wife, Teresa of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Goode Rescue Squad, 9261 Forest Road, Goode, VA 24556 or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Daniel Temeles and his staff, the staff of Medi Home Health and Hospice of Roanoke, and the staff of Medi Home Care of Bedford.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Randy Krantz officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford. To send condolences online please visit www.tharpfuneralhome.com.
