To the family:
It seems like no time at all since we as children were at Glenwood Service Station playing around with some other children or at Mentow Church , where Margaret & Wilbur spent most of their time. Those memories come back to you when you visit familiar places which I recently did with the death of my mother, Dare Johnson.
Margaret was the "best" fifth grade teacher ever!
She & Wilbur will be remembered as wonderful friends to my Mom & Dad and to the entire community of Huddleston.
My sympathy to all the family.
Sincerely,
Sue J. Ketron

“Mrs. Martin” taught hundreds of us in her years at Huddleston School, and even though many of us moved out of the neighborhood and have not been in regular contact since then, we’re saddened by her passing and share the loss with all of her family and close friends. But we can also take comfort in knowing that she has graduated with honors from this tough old school and is now in that peaceful valley where we will share even better times with her, in our own time.

I have only fond memories of Aunt Margaret and all the times she, Wilbur, and my grandparents would take me and Kenny out on their Thursday night dinners. Of course, Margaret always had to send something back to the cook to get it just right -- we all just laughed at her! That was another great thing about Aunt Margaret - she could always make us laugh.
I'm so sorry I cannot make it to Huddleston this weekend from Memphis to see all the family and say goodbye. My thoughts are with all of you.
Joanna (or as Curry and Aunt Margaret would say - "Joanna from Montana")

Aunt Margaret was not only my aunt, but she was one of my teachers,my friend,a mentor, and second Mom. She gave us all encouragement and praise as we grew up and was always there for advice. Now,I know she is having a grand reunion with Uncle Wilbur,Daddy Kenneth,Violet,Fred,Mama Julie and Granddaddy Hep. Love Myra Joy&Kermit
