Arcelia Maria Acosta Arcelia Maria Acosta, age 67, passed peacefully into God's hands on January 1, 2011. Her last wish was granted at the time as she was surrounded by her family she loved so dearly.

Arcelia was born in Samana, Dominican Republic. She spent a great deal of her life in Caracas, Venezuela, but always had a great love for her native country where lived for the last twenty years.

Survived by her daughter Maribel Alvarez of Gainesville, along with her husband Robert and three daughters Karina Mariela, and Sofia Alvarez. Her first son Jose A. Vargas, along with wife Estela and their three sons Wilton, Joseph and Erick Vargas, and her youngest son Carlos V. Lirano along with his wife Betzy and their two children Betzy Victoria, and Carlos Lirano Jr. Her brothers Dr. Jose Ramon Acosta, Francisco Acosta, Lilian Acosta, Bienvenido Liriano and Maria Elena Liriano, Maria Alcala.

Funeral Mass will be 4:30 P.M. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA 20110.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to Capital Hospice, 10530 Linden Lake Plz # 200, Manassas, VA 20109. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, Virginia 20109.
