Donald Thomas Gray Donald Thomas "Tom" Gray, age 71, of Gainesville, Virginia, departed this world to be with his Lord Jesus Christ in the early morning hours of Friday, September 10, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Tilden Arrington; father, James Harry Gray; a brother, James Tilden Gray.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Ann Louise Ruddock Gray; two daughters, Deborah Gray Beatty and her husband Thomas Gregory Beatty of Germantown, MD, and Wendy Laurane Gray of Manassas; two sisters, Ruth LuRee Flatt and Katie Duryea of Manassas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Tom was the 20 year owner of Manassas Cleaners, an established local business for 53 years. He was an avid Redskins fan, coin collector, bird watcher, loving husband and father, loyal, caring, and reliable friend, dedicated Christian and engaging member of the community whose word was his bond.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM on Monday, September 13th at the Found & Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Rd. Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, September 14th at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Manassas. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens. Online condolences

Tom was truly a man of God, who always had a big smile for me whenever I went to the cleaners. He was also extremely generous. He'd never accept payment from me when he cleaned my Santa suit. I'll miss Tom a lot, but one day I'll see him in heaven.

Tom was my first cousin. I alwayhs enjoyed his company, Picnics at Gettysburg, working at the cleaners, playing softball, pitching horseshoes, talking about the Redskins.He always had a broad smile and good word for everyone. We will miss him greatly.
