Bryon Keith Blose



Bryon Keith Blose, age 47, of Manassas, passed away March 11, 2009 at the Prince William Hospital.

Born October 18, 1961 in Olean, N.Y., he was the son of Jason and Helen Stuck Blose. Bryon served in the United States Air Force from 1980 - 1984. He was a Master Plumber who worked for the Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation, helping to restore historic residences and buildings in and around Prince William County. He most recently worked on the restoration of the Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre and the Old Brentsville Union Church. Bryon was a member of the Manassas St. Thomas United Methodist Church, and was known as a family man, who loved to watch his children play sports, including softball, soccer and wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Monice Blose of Manassas; his children, Elizabeth "Betsy" Trapp; Trevor Blose and Allyson Kathryn Blose, whom he referred to as "Boo Bear, and Ally Kat"; one sister, Rovetta Winseck of Roulette, Pa. and two nephews, Carroll Winseck, III of Delaware and Nathan Daniel Winseck, of Roulette, Pa.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd., Manassas. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with The Rev. Tommy Herndon, Jr. officiating. A funeral service will be held at the Old Brentsville Union Church at a later date, with interment to take place at Quantico National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation, 16764 Main Street, Dumfries, Virginia 22026.
