Used to ride to work with Denny in his old blue truck. Denny was a bit grumpy, but once you got to know him, you realized he was just a teddy bear. I used to call him "Bitter" Man could he be moody in the morning. He was a Nam vet. Saw a lot of combat from what i heard. He never talked about it much except to say that he had the utmost respect for the Viet Cong. "Best jungle fighters in the world" he used to say. Anyhow.... rest in peace Denny, my old buddy.

We just learned of your passing Denny, and were very saddened to hear of a great lose to another "Amherst Drive" family member. Growing up as next door neighbors, we all experienced both the good and the bad. But for us, it was mostly good with the humor, love and happiness you provided. May you rest in peace!

I will miss you. You were the second person I met when my family moved to Manassas in the early 60's. We shared many good times dancing in the basement. Later it was class reunions and sharing children stories. Oh, yeah and the bar tending. Now you and Mike are together again. At least I know Pop is there to keep the two of you out of trouble, just like the old days.
I love you my old friend.

I pray that God will give all of you the peace, strength, and comfort to get each of you through this time of loss. I know this can only come from God, so open up your hearts and let Him in. This is for each of you, if you need anything just call and I will be there.
Yall know I spent a lot of time with Denny and we were buds for many years. I have a ton of wonderful memories of this guy and a boat load of stories. Denny and I spent a lot of one on one time hunting and I want to thank God for this Blessing in this time on earth to have known Denny. I just want to say "I'll see you again one day Old Blue".
May God Bless you all.

I have known Dennie since I went to school at Stonewall. He was one of the most personable, friendly people I have ever known and to watch him on the dance floor was a thrill in itself. He was the king of "Cool". I know he will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
