Hazel Lee Hart Hazel Lee Hart, 88, of Woodbridge passed away Monday October 18, 2010 at the Potomac Hospital.

Mrs. Hart was born April 17, 1922 in Russell County VA, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Bessie Octavia (Jackson) Sizemore.

She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother that took great pride in her family. In early years she was a farmer's wife raising her family in Oakwood VA. In later years she was a caregiver in the Washington area. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and loved to visit Woodbridge Senior Center.

She is survived by her six daughters; Nancy Lee Duty of Oakwood, VA, Frances Stearns of Woodbridge, Maryann Bartram of Baltimore MD., Jean Kline of Fredericksburg, Lawonne Gibson of York, SC , Mamie Kay Cook of Woodbridge and Kathy Diane Murray of Mt. Airy, NC. Three sons; Harold Vernon Cooke of Oakwood, VA, Robert Bruce Cook of Lebanon, VA and Leslie Keith Cook and wife Joan Cook of Homosassa, FL. 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Carlos Gaston Cook and a daughter, Carol Katherine Cook and 5 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm, Wednesday October 20, 2010 at Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 1:30pm (2 hours prior to the service) at the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to the Capital Hospice, 10530 Linden Lake Plaza, Manassas, VA 20109.

Aunt Hazel was a wonderful and caring person. She will be greatly missed. I will always remember her smile. My sympathy goes out to all her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
