I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I only became aware of this on Monday of this week from one of my students. I worked at Beville with him. He was kind and always willing to help, no matter the situtation. He was also there at Beville when my son attended there. He will be greatly missed. May you suffer no more' God has taken you home to be with him. Rest in peace!

Jeff and I were roommates in college and spent lots of time together of which I have very fond memories. We lost touch after school and I found out through one our other roommates today Jeff had passed away. I was shocked. Jeff was always a caring and sharing person who would do just about anything for anybody. My condolences go out to his family.

Sharon and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I had the pleasure of helping to take care of him at VCU. Like Grace, I always think of you all when I go into that back corner room. Jeff was such an amazing guy. He fought with dignity and stubbornness. Your family truly touched my heart. I will never forget Jeff or you all. Thank you so much for allowing us to share in Jeff's fight and for bringing us chocolate to make our days a little sweeter.
Sharon, I am sending you a big hug!

I came into work this evening and found Jeff's name and date on our chalkboard and I just fell apart. I am so sorry for your loss. Jeffrey put up a tremendous fight with resiliency rarely seen. I will forever think of the corner room being his, and smile when we struggle to get the wireless to work. I am so very very sorry Sharon for your loss. My heart weeps for you and Jeffrey. My world is a less hopeful place. I pray that one day, in our next adventure; we can sit together and laugh, eat chocolates, talk beach combing trips, crochet, and Farmville additions, without any fear of cancer or death. I will remember Jeff until my mind is gone and life is over and pray that I can meet my challenges with as much dignity and strength as he did. All my love, all my broken hearted love.

Take heart that Jeff's life touched everyone. He inspired us at Beville with his determination. Rest assured that the sandy beach Jeff now walks in Paradise has two sets of footprints. Jeff walks with Christ.

So sad to hear this. Mr. Merrifield was at Beville when I went to school there, he was always willing to help when you needed it, and offer when you didn't. Rest in Peace.

Jeff was a joy to work with at Beville Middle School from 1992-1998 when I taught there. The Beville Family was a great group of individuals and Jeff will be missed. Nancy Allen, Destin, FL
