Jimmie Roger Anderson Jimmie Roger Anderson, 68, of Dale City, VA, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010.

He was husband to loving wife and friend, Antoinette Anderson and father to five children, Tabatha Glass, Tatia Anderson, Janita Anderson, Dennis Anderson and Franco Anderson, along with three grandchildren, Dakota, Tiffany and Neiko; a sister Jeanette Cora Bozeman and a brother, Wilbur Taylor, Jr. He was a retired bus driver with the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority with thirty three years service, a devout Redskins fan who enjoyed discussing politics and education. He was also a generous man who was known for helping others and for his great sense of humor. Jimmie Anderson was a U. S. Army Veteran born in Memphis, TN, March 1, 1942, a son of the late Jack and Mae Anderson.

The funeral service will be conducted 12:00 noon, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, VA by Pastor Karen T. Mills. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.

Jimmie you left us too soon. I miss you so much. I enjoyed the laughs, the gossip that we did. I vented to you about my siblings when they rub me the wrong way.(All in the name of love). I just got a invite from you to be your friend on Facebook. What am I going to do?
Wnen I visited the DC area you was there for me and my husband. There is a lot more I can say. You have touched the lives of so many people. You are going to be missed. I am praying for your family. You was the ROCK of that family. Toni did not have to worry about anything. I love YOU and I am praying for you and your family.

Jimmie is my nephew. we grew up together. He lived in Memphis I lived in Forrest City AR. we visited every summer throughout high school. I feel a void now that he is gone. I hope God's grace and mercy will confort is wife , kids and grandkids. I pray that God continue to bless and confort you always
