Marie Meredith Obituary
She was the wife of Paul Kelly Meredith, Jr. and was a retired bakery manager with Giant Food Stores. She was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Meredith was born in Milwaukee, Wis., June 28, 1943 a daughter of the late William and Martha Schmidt Starkell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Paula K. Thomas; four sons, Paul C. Meredith, Joseph G. Meredith, Mark A. Meredith, James K. Meredith; sixteen grandchildren, two grand- children and a brother, Roland Starkell.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, 3713 Pennington Lane, Woodbridge, Va. by Pastor Dave Nobles. Interment will follow in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Va. The family will receive friends at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, Dale City on Friday, October 29, 2010 from two until four in the afternoon and from six until eight in the evening. James and Nora, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that you both were very close to your mom and grandma. There are no words that anyone can say to make this time any easier. Keep your memories in your heart of the times spent with her and that will get you through this trying time.

Marie (Mary) was a wonderful neighbor and friend for around 30 years who was always there to help me when I needed help. Will always remember watching Redskins games with Paul and enjoying her wonderful cooking. I will miss talking to her, but will always remember the times we shared together.
