Nelson Webber, Jr. Retired Captain Nelson Webber, Jr., age, 62 of Manassas, died at Fairfax Hospital on December 21, 2010.

Mr. Webber was born September 20, 1948 to the late Nelson Sr. and Jane Webber. He was a retired Captain and Eastern District Commander of the Prince William County Police Department. He was a graduate of the 165th FBI National Academy.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy (Moss) Webber, his high school sweetheart and love of his life.

He is survived by his son, Nelson "Lenny" Webber, III and his wife, Sarah; two grandchildren, Zackary and Kyle; one brother, William Webber and his wife, Kathleen and nieces, Caitlin and Abigail. He is also survived by mother-in-law Lois Stewart; brother-in-laws Brad and Joe Moss, and Jim Stewart and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193 on Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., with a memorial service at the funeral home beginning at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Captain Nelson Webber, Jr. to: National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163. Arrangements by Mountcastle Funeral Home of Dale City, Va.

Rest in peace my friend. You inspired us all with your gallant and graceful fight with MS. I know you are with Cathy now, looking down at all of us. To Lenny and family, may God be with you during this time of loss. Your father was a good man and I shall miss him.
