He is survived by wife, Estell Bourne Timms; two children, W. Louis Timms, III (and Jackie), and Pamela Timms Gay (and Ben) and three grandchildren, Jennifer Timms, Michael Gaines, and Erin Gay.
Services will be held in North Carolina on Friday. Arrangements by
Raymer Funeral Home, Huntersville, N.C.

Dear Pam and Tim, Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. My mother died this past New Years Eve at the age of 91, and I understand the pain you must be experiencing. When we are children we think we'll have them forever, and even 86 or 91 is too soon.
