We had the privilege of living across the street from Florence in West Islip. She was a wonderful and caring person. She used to teach my children how to play the organ. Even though we haven't seen her recently, she was always in our thoughts. Our condolences to her family. Jan and Peter Calabrese

Carol and I were very saddened to learn of Aunt Flo's passing. She was an extraordinary woman, full of love and energy. What a wonderful couple she and Uncle Connie were.
I have many vivid memories of her, all very positive and worthy of note; lately, my cognitive abilities and communication skills no longer match my long term memory.
I do feel your loss. Florence Koehler knew she was loved; you should feel good about that. I just wish she could have kept her Caddy.
Our love to you,
Mike and Carol Kelley

Florence and I shared the same birth date and I got to know her through our ROBS (retirees of Brentwood schools) when we interviewed her for our History project before she moved to SC. What a gracious and lovely person she was. My condolences to you all on the loss of such a valuable person!
