Arthur BRYANT Obituary

BRYANT - Arthur W. of Setauket, Long Island on September 10, 2013, age 93. Mr. Bryant was the founder of Bryant Funeral Home of Setauket. Arthur was an active and beloved member of thecommunity he loved. His good will, humor and friendship will be missed by many. A WWII Army Air Corps Veteran, he was involved and active in VeteranAffairs for most of his life. Mr. Bryant was recently honored by the Setauket Fire Department for 75 years of service. He waspredeceased by his wife Martha in 2005 after 59 years ofmarriage. Surviving are his sons Arthur Jr. (Barbara), Herb(Kathy), and Fred (Debbie) and grandchildren Christine (Adam) Chavez, Elizabeth, Sarah (Evan) Werner, Melissa (David) Krivit, Herb (Maureen), Fred Jr., Bonnie (Dennis) O'Connor and Adam. He was also the proud grandfather of four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the BryantFuneral Home, 411 Old Town Road, Setauket. Visiting will be Thursday 7-10 PM and Friday 2-4 PM and 7-10M with Firematic and American Legion Services on Friday as well. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at the St. James Episcopal Churchyard Cemetery.
