Kathy,
I wished that there was more time to hear your dad's stories. I enjoyed every one that I heard. I also loved being around him when we all gathered at your house for different occasions. He was always a gentle man and made me feel like part of the family. He was a devoted husband and father and a good friend to so many. You are very fortunate to have had him as your dad. He was truly special! Celebrate his life and treasure the memories!

Your Dad sounds like quite a guy. He will be a welcome addition to Heaven I am sure.
He will probably be playing poker with my Dad and all of their friends and make things very lively and fun while they are waiting for us to join them.
Your Dad is the kind of guy who lived his life with kindness, a strong and tough determination, love and a great sense of humor.
I am sure God welcomed him home.
God bless you and your family.

To the Marino family, I extend my deepest sympathies. Carmine "Chic" Marino was dear friend and one heck of a poker player -- one of the best at being a human being I've run across in a long time. I will miss him and the rest of the guys will too.

Betsy, We are all very sadden to hear about your dad. He was loved very much, not just by family, but by all that knew him. I am very blessed to have had the chance to meet him. He was a wonderful man (not to mention extremely "cool") and I thank you or sharing him with Sue's extended family. I know the world is a sadder place without him, but Heaven is rejoicing. I can just see him sitting there with my dad and watching over us all!
xo,

To Muriel and all of Chic's relatives: My condolences on our loss. I knew Chic through poker and he taught me a lot (that means he took a lot of my money!). Chic was a delight at the poker table and I know he was a wonderful and energetic man. We will miss him, but he will be in our memories.

Kath, I was so sad to hear about your dad. I can relate to my dad wearing his baseball hat and smoking a cigar. Although he never played poker he was a character just like yours. Celebrate his life and hold your memories close. My love and thoughts are with you and your family. I know how close you were and how dearly he will be missed. Love, Mary Lou & Roger
