Bobbie Stribling Obituary
She was born in Mississippi, and had lived in Bay County since 1990. Mrs. Stribling and her husband owned a grocery store in Mississippi for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City, and had been a resident of Glen Cove for the last 4 years.
Mrs. Stribling was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Stribling, Sr., and their son, Robert, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobbette Forehand of Chipley; a sister, Imogene Watkins of Madison, MS; her granddaughters, Anne Chenault of Chipley and Leslie Hapner and husband Fred of Lynn Haven; 3 great-grandchildren, Micah and Noah Hapner and Thomas Register; and two special nieces, Gayle and Ginger.
A funeral service will begin at Noon today, March 26, 2011, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home to day from 11:00 AM until service time at Noon. Pallbearers will be John Mercer, Herman Daniels, Joe Mills, Chris Westlake, Timothy Register and Thomas Register.
