James Kroh Obituary
He was born on Thursday, February 9, 1950 in Reinerton, a son of the late Herold E Kroh and the late Louise M (Diehl) Kroh.
He was a 1968 graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
He was employed at Dayton Superior, Tremont, until becoming ill.
He was of the Christian Faith.
He was a member and past president of the Porter Tower Lions Club; a life member and secretary-treasurer of the Muir Volunteer Fire Company; a member of the Orwin Gun Club; a member of Steel Workers Union Local 12438; president of the Porter Twp. Firemen's Relief Association, and a member of the Tower City Moose. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid dart player.
He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Kroh.
He is survived by his wife, Karen L (Schrope) Kroh, to whom he was married for 38 years.
He is also survived by a son, James G Kroh, Jr of Muir; a granddaughter, Carianna L Kroh; a brother, Dale A Kroh of New Jersey; two sisters, Lorraine L McEntee of Reinerton and Sandra L. Shade of Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, March 15, with Rev. Charles Oldland officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
