I'm shedding tears because he has passed but I smile because I he was here to be my friend. Ron was so easy to be friends with in high school that I looked forward to seeing him for over 50 years. I have warm memories of rides in my Model A roadster, hunting in the Catskills and playing "dollar" poker while having a beer in a local tavern. My sincere condolences to Joan and their family for their loss. Bill and Sara Loos

Dawn, Kenny, Trevor and Kelsey, I am so sorry hear of Mr. Lyons' passing. He was such a kind, gentle man that was wonderful to everyone he met. I heard his name mentioned in church today and felt so sad to hear he had passed. All of our prayers to you and your extended family. He will always be remembered fondly to me through football and cheer and the high school. - Dan and Danielle McDermott and Family

So few people go through life impacting so many other lives in such a positive way as you did. We are better men and women for having had you as a teacher, coach and mentor. Rest easy Ron. Our prayers and thoughts are with those whom you held dear and left behind.
