Ann Rothhouse Obituary

Ann Goldrosen Rothhouse, 93, passed away peacefully Friday, October 8, 2010. She leaves behind two daughters Rona Rothhouse and Victoria Rubenstein, two sons-in-law Gary Lehman and Howard Rubenstein, three grandchildren Aaron Lieberman, Mandy Phillips and Tracy Calabrese, four great grandchildren, Kyle Phillips, Emily Phillips, Joseph Calabrese and Thomas Calabrese and special nieces and nephews. Ann, aka Sister, GM, GG, Mommy, spent the last six years under the loving care of the staff at Hancock Hall in Danbury. The family would like to recognize Betty, Maureen, Janet, Princess and Suzanne for the kindness they continued to give mother until her passing. Ann was born in the Bronx in 1917 and lived in New York, New Jersey and for a number of years in Boca Raton, Florida. For the past six years she enjoyed living close to her daughter, Rona, and loved going out to eat. Ann will be remembered for her strength, her sense of humor and always for speaking her mind. The family has requested that donations be made to the Women's Center of Greater Danbury, 2 West Street, Danbury, CT 06811 so that other women may find some of her strength.
