Charlotte Lechner Obituary

Charlotte Lechner, age 69 of Bayside, N.Y., died at Village Crest in New Milford on Tuesday, September 28th, surrounded by her brothers and nieces. She was born in New York, N.Y. on February 13, 1941, daughter of the late Frederich and Lucienne (Paradis) Lechner. Charlotte worked as a controller for the Gilla Roos Agency. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Bayside Queens, N.Y. She will be sadly missed by her two brothers, Fred Lechner and his wife, Teresa of New Milford, and Charles Lechner and his wife, Tamara of Plano, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Lucienne McKinney, Brittney Lechner, Gloria Johanning, Diane Lechner, Lisa Best, Charlie Lechner, Stephen Lechner, and Mara Dubis; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 4th at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield. The family will receive friends in the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday between the hours of 4 and 6 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart Church, 215-35 38th Avenue, Bayside, NY 11361, or to the American Cancer Society.
