Kevin was one of a kind. He was naturally intuitive to the emotional
makeup of everyone he meant almost instantly. He always used his gift to enhance the emotional well being of others. Everyone he met became a better person for knowing him. If ever there was a soul that will live forever in each person he met & enhanced, it was Kevin

Dear Dorrie and family, our hearts go out to you all. We are so sad to hear about Kevin's passing. For weeks I tried to contact him and could not overcome that bad feeling I had when my attempts to talk to him failed. He was a wonderful, caring, loving friend to all of us. always ready to help and pick me up with his Mercedes. I am so glad I finally accepted his constant invitation to come for a boat ride. I will always keep it in my memories. We all will never forget him. Our prayers are with you and your family. May God help you and comfort you with your grief.

I had know Kevin for almost fourty years. I was nick name "Swanzy" right from the start of our friendship. I was with him when he and Dorrie were married. We always had so much fun at our home on the lake in VT. He loved that lake so much he was their when ever he had time. Kevin always kept in touch and I always knew what was going on. I was able to visit his lake home in CT and had a nice ride in his boat. I'll miss the jokes and calls and his advise about family matters. He was always their for me. Like a big brother.

Dorrie, Chris, Erin and Kevin,
I had the great honor of working with Kevin at Eclipse. Kevin was the consumate professional, but more importantly, he was a great person with a zest for life and always with a sparkle in his eye. You always left any exchange with Kevin feeling better than you did before. A special gift from a special man!

Dorrie~ I am so glad the Colangelo cousins were able to gather in January and that we all got to spend one last joyous evening with Kevin. As always, Kevin lit up the room and brought many smiles to our faces. We are all heartbroken and he will be deeply missed.
Chris, Kevin and Erin ~ your father gave and received much love but nothing compares to the love he had for you. May your childhood memories carry you through these difficult times.

I am very sad to hear of Kevin's passing. I am in Florida and unable to attend his service. Kevin and I played many rounds of golf at Heritage Village over the years both in tournament competition and for fun. Kevin was a pleasure to play with...outgoing, friendly, and always the consumate Irish gentleman and I wanted Kevin's family to know how well thought of he was by friends and club members. We, at Heritage Village CC, will miss him very much.

Dear Carolan Family,
My heart is so heavy with the news of Kevin's death. I always considered him my third brother! I knew him for 40 years! First, my brother Kurt (Kevin was his best friend) died two years ago and now I've lost "another" brother. It doesn't seem real! My father also feels like he lost another son. My dad appreciated all the phones calls he received from Kevin throughout the years. Kevin certainly loved his family and was a loyal friend. He was the best joke teller I ever heard! I can still hear his deep laugh in my head. The only comfort I have is knowing that Kevin and Kurt are together again! Please accept my deepest sympathy at this sad time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

As a twice-a-year visitor to my roots in the Newtown area, those trips were always enriched with time together with Kevin and my other great friends on the golf course. I count myself lucky to be included among the many who received so many favors and great memories from you, Kevin, which I will endeavor to pass on in the same spirit you gave them to us - with a warm smile and hearty laugh, sharing spirit and comaraderie. "When the built you they broke the mold." May your spirit carry on and comfort us.

God Bless you all in this time of sorrow. May Love and Memories get you through! Love Always, Patty
God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face.He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest.God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb,So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine".It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone,For part of us went with you The day God called you home
