Louise Funk Obituary
Louise Funk of New Milford, CT passed away peacefully Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Danbury, CT, with her loving family by her side at 89 years of age. She will be missed by many.
She was born September 25, 1927 in East Haven, CT, daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Cardinetta) Ferraiolo. Louise was preceded in death by loving husband Louis Funk Sr. and her son Robert Funk and great-grandson Joey Awlasewicz. Louise is survived by her daughters Karen Pane and Sharon Childs; her sons Louis Funk Jr. and Edward Funk. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Shelley Lavelle, Susan Funk, Luanne Awlasewicz, Mark Pane, Mathew Pane and Christina Childs. Great-grandchildren Cooper Awlasewicz , Madison Daudelin, Dakota Pane, Milayla Pane, Alexa Pane and Harley Pane. Sons-in-law James Childs and Michael Pane.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Church, Route 109 in New Milford, CT. Louise will be buried with her beloved husband at Saint Peter's Cemetery, Danbury, CT, following the Mass.
