Robert Jerry Page Jr. 70, of Waynesboro, died on Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Avante Nursing Home at Waynesboro.

He was born on May 27, 1940, in Cooleemee, North Carolina, a son of the late Robert J. Page Sr. and Margaret Heflin Page.

Mr.Page was a retired pipefitter wth Brown and Root Company and later worked for Merck and Company before retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sue Ann Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy C.Page; a brother, Richard Page and his wife, Julie, of Culpeper; one niece and one nephew; special friends, Lucille Shifflett, Lynda Shifflett, Mary and David Campbell and their daughter, Eddy Shifflett, James Raines and a special dog,Tucker.

The family would like a special thanks to go to his caregivers, Glenda Desper, Krystal Botkin, Heather Crissman, Mindi Fink, Dr.Donald Lee and staff at Avante Nursing Home.

A service will be conducted at a later date.

McDow Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
