Mary Foley Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Foley, 84, a resident of Avante' of Waynesboro, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Augusta Health.
She was born on December 25, 1925, in Grottoes, the daughter of the late James Franklin and Lillie Frances Frazier Bruce.
Mrs. Foley was a homemaker and attended the Methodist church.
She was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and attended the Waynesboro Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Eva Gonzalez; one brother, one sister, one half brother and two half sisters.
Survivors include a son, James Franklin Foley of Glennville, Georgia; a daughter, Joyce Ann Beaupre of Savannah, Georgia; ten grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and eight great-great- grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m.Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Matt Coiner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 West Main Street Waynesboro, Virginia.
Family members and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. on the day of the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

It was a joy getting to know Mary while she was at Avante'. I especially enjoyed our Reminisce times . She loved to talk about her childhood home and talked with pride and respect about her hardworking father and wonderful stepmother that came into the family after her mother passed away. She liked to talk about the beaitiful flowers in the yard and all the things her father did for others. His hard work to privide for them. She will surley be missed by many at Avante.
