Artie was the best 10 handicap lefty I ever had the privilege to play with or teach. His zeal for life was best expressed by his determination to play the game he loved.

Adele, Karen and I were very saddened to read of Artie's passing, but know fully that he is now singing with the angels; and if I know Artie, leading the choir. Fondly, Dan and Karen Brown

Truly a wonderful human being. One of the most kindest, nicest and funniest man I have ever come to known. He meant a lot to me and was always an idol. His spirit always amazed me. I am so glad I got to talk to him over the phone the day before he ascended to heaven. He sure picked one of the most beautiful spots on earth...a perfect runway to heaven. He will be truly missed but never ever forgotten. Love you dearly Aunt Adele, Britt and Krissy. You mean alot to me.

As a child I can remember seeing Artie walk the neighborhood every single day...with absolute determination to MAKE IT and beat the odds. I admired him.
As an adult although my visits with him were infrequent...he always made me smile. I am sure Artie is running through heaven right now making everyone around him smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Adele. LOVE YOU.

Artie was a tough competitor on the golf course. After his stroke Artie's competitve spirit was strengthened by his fighting spirit and determination to enjoy life. Always good for a laugh Artie was truly one of a kind.

Adele: I am so sorry to read of Artie's passing - It is comforting to know that you on vacation and he was enjoying himself . Kristina told me recently at an open house you all were going to Florida.
May the Lord give you comfort and peace. Fondly, Pat Rexrode

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing the gentleman, but if he was half as nice as Adele, I am sure he was a pleasure to know!
