Florence Ann Marcus GREENVILLE

Florence Ann Marcus, 67, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Augusta Health.

She was born on June 20, 1943, in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Thomas Wheller and Bertha Mae Nuckols Harris.

Mrs. Marcus enjoyed working at Stuarts Draft Christian Home in Stuarts Draft.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Junior Lee Beverley.

Survivors include her husband, Herman G. Marcus; four sons, Thomas Marcus and his fiancee, Chasity Aderholz, of Staunton, Ricky L. Beverley of Middlebrook, Sherman L. Marcus of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, and William G. Marcus of Sheppardstown, West Virginia; one daughter, Thelma L. Bush of Martinsburg, West Virginia; two sisters, Ada Brown and Juanita Lowery, both of Stuarts Draft; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with the Reverend Timothy Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Sherman Marcus, Justin Simmons, Chris Lambert, Jonathan Beverley, Mike Simmons and Scott Martin.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Stuarts Draft.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Full Gospel Church, 31 Simmonsville Lane, Greenville, VA 24440.
