KLAPP, PAUL C. Suddenly in Guilford on Monday, April 23, 2012, Paul C. Klapp, 41, of Guilford. Beloved son of Karel and Vera Marie Kratochvilova Klapp of Guilford, born in New Haven on Oct. 24, 1970. Survived by his extended family from Prague, Czech Republic, an uncle Antonin Kratochvil and his wife Gabriela and his Maternal cousins, Wayne, Gavyn and Michael (Pavla) Kratochvil, their daughter Maja; a another cousin, Peter Holic and his Paternal cousin, Romanka Klapp. Predeceased by an aunt, Jaroslava Holicova, his Maternal grandparents Jaroslav and Bedriska Kratochvil and his Paternal grandparents, Karel and Bohumila Klapp. Also survived by his best friend (Rescue Dog) Buddy. Paul is a graduate of Xavier High School in Middletown and had attended Northeastern University in Boston, Ohio State University and Quinnipiac University. Most recently he graduated from Gateway College and had been working at Yale New Haven Radiology Dept. Paul loved nature, and enjoyed spending his free time hiking and fishing. He was kind and always helpful to others. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 2, beginning at 6pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Burial will take place privately. Those wishing to remember Paul with a memorial contribution are asked to donate to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405. Dear, dear Paul....Two years have passed since you were taken....our hearts are so heavy with the loss...every time I think of you or speak of you, I cry....I smile hearing your voice and seeing that grin....you will forever be in my heart as that wonderful soul who was gentle, kind, humorous, thoughtful and meant so much to those who knew him. I knew Paul from our neighborhood and school. It was so nice to see a familiar face in Yale a couple of years ago when he walked around a corner. He was always a kind and caring person, he will be missed.
