Anthony Antonacci Obituary

ANTONACCI, ANTHONY J. "TONY" Anthony "Tony" J. Antonacci of Vero Beach, FL formerly of CT, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2011. He was born February 20, 1938, son of the late James Antonacci and Rachel Palumbo Antonacci. He is survived by his daughter, Christine M. Antonacci of Cheshire, his grandchildren Jana, Marissa and Anthony Clark, and his brother, James Antonacci. Anthony also leaves behind his God-daughter Mary-Lou Grillo-Limauro, her family as well as other family and friends in CT and FL. He was predeceased by his son Anthony J. Antonacci, Jr., and his Aunt Theresa Palumbo Grillo. Anthony was a long time compassionate volunteer with the North Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross in Florida, a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast, and loved his days in Connecticut with AJ's Hot Dog Carts. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 Elm Street, Wallingford from 2 to 3 with a memorial service to follow. Memorial contributions may be made in Anthony's name to the North Treasure Coast Chapter American Red Cross, 2506 17th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Tony, I miss you so much! Miss our talks and your visit to CT. We all miss your laughter, stories, how you liked salads so much, the beer you like (Ballantiine), pasta fagioli that you make (my Mom's recipe that you learned from her), the gifts you sent to me and my children, I also miss sending you gifts. :( Happy Birthday to my favorite cousin and Godfather!
