Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Carney family. I just found out about Chris's passing quite by accident, so was stunned to find out he died. Chris and I worked together at David Carroll Associates many years ago, and I remember his wit and congenial nature. He was a joy to work with. He was a nice person who will be misssed by all who knew him.

To Joan & family: He fought a battle with the disease not many could fight. It was hard for me to talk to him during that time because I could tell he really didn't want to talk about it in depth. It's hard to balance how often to call and what to say. I prayed a lot for him during that time and will keep him in my prayers going forward. My thoughts and prayers will continue for those left behind too.

So many years have passed but the memory of my Uncle Chris and godfather are all the same. He brought life and laughter whenever he arrived at a family gathering. As a child, I secretly hoped he would be joining our get togethers each and every time! My thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Joan, Jocelyn, Chris and Tara. I pray your memories will bring you much consolation. You have the promise ......you will see him again. Love, Mary-Alison

Aunt Joan, Jocelyn, Chris and Tara....

My deepest sympathies to you. Uncle Chris has been in my mind very much the past few days. I think fondly of him especially in my youth of family get togethers, holidays, picnics and the "great" trip to Fenway Park. Two things come back to me over and over in those thoughts of him...A man who was fun and larger than life itself. My thoughts and prayers are constantly with you during this time.

Love your nephew and cousin,

My Uncle Christy loved life and lived it to the fullest, always. He loved his wife and family and was a dedicated husband and father. His love and warmth were felt by one and all. He was a caring, big hearted, and FUN individual who never carried grudges but loved others as he wanted to be loved. His family need have no regrets as they were and always will be close to one another. My Aunt Joan was a faithful and loyal wife and my admiration for her strength and devotion can not be expressed adequately in words. My love goes out to her and to my cousins Jocelyn, Chris and Tara, as well as to their families. We may not keep in touch but I love each and every one of you now and always. I will continue to pray for the repose of Uncle Chris' soul , Kerstin Rigi
