RACKERS
Dorothy Geraldine "Jerry" Rackers, 92, of Batesville, formerly of Woodlawn, KY, passed away on April 3, 2013 at St. Andrews Health Campus, Batesville, IN. She was born June 1, 1920 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Carl W. Cox and Elizabeth Noles Pendergrass Cox. Jerry was preceded in death by her Husband, Paul William Rackers (August 3, 2004) and a granddaughter Kelly Harris. She is survived by her Daughters, Paula E. Holmes of Lexington, KY, Barbara J. Rackers of Lexington, KY, and Ann (Marc) Messer of Cincinnati, OH. Sons, Thomas (Thelma) Rackers of Columbia, MD, Robert J. (Lynn) Rackers of Alexandria, KY, and Michael (Karen) Rackers of Cincinnati, OH. Also survived by 12 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Holy Spirit Parish, 825 Washington St., Newport, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 644 Linn St. Suite 1026 Cincinnati, OH 45203.
