Frank Moster Obituary
MOSTER
Frank J., age 69, of Oakland, NJ, passed away on March 24, 2013. Born in Chicago, Frank was the son of the late Frank and Peg Moster. Beloved husband of Nancy (Mulqueeney). Proud dad of Timothy (Jillian), Meg Grenier (Tom), Christopher (Cathleen) and Dennis. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He is cherished by Bridget, Kelly, and Paige Grenier, and Caden, Connor, Kevin, Brady, and Michael Moster. Frank is survived by his sisters Peg Moster (Jerry Sund) and Mary Beth Sheahan (Jim), and his brother Dennis (Rita) Moster and their children. Frank is predeceased by his sister Catherine Grevan. Frank loved his life in Book Publishing for almost 48 years. The friends made were so special and appreciated dearly from Monday to Friday, but his love for golf was his weekend happiness. He loved his friends from Otterkill Golf Club for all their great times together. We all wish our Frank the trueness of resting in peace. Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday March 27th at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 900 Darlington Ave., Mahwah, NJ at 10 AM followed by a burial at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave., Mahwah, NJ. Friends and family may visit the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ, on Tuesday, March 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Frank a few years ago. He was dedicated to his booksellers and his publishers. Frank was also a lot of fun to be with. My sympathies go out to his family and to his longtime coworker Laura Compton. Too soon, too soon.

Shelley and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Frank, as are my colleagues at Parson Weems--Eileen Bertelli, Causten Stehle, and Linda Cannon. The highlight of our summer was always the benefit gold tournament the Mosters organized. Frank and I are each former sales managers at Little, Brown where he is remembered for his vision, strength of character and deep book professionalism. Our condolences and prayers for Frank and his family. We regret that we are out of the country and unable to join the memorial service for Frank. Our thoughts are with the Mosters and all who enjoyed and benefited from his company.
