Mrs Codey was a wonderful woman. I first met her when I was a kid growing up on Cliff Street in Ridgewood. She was always happy to see us kids running around her house. When Tootsie always introduced me as her 'oldest friend' we would both have a giggle! 40 years is a long time!

There are no words to express the way I feel at the passing of this lovely 'lady'. My heart is heavy at the thought I shall never see her again but I also think of her laughter, love, strength and courage and feel blessed to have known such a wonderful woman. She was a diamond.

Our love and heartfelt sympathy goes out to her children and their families and to all her family.

We love you Tootsie

I didn't know Toots all that well, but what I did know was that she had an incredible zest for life. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
