PARENT Norman, age 57, of Ridgefield, on July 16, 2009. He was born in Jersey City and was a Locksmith for Parent Door Hardware, Cliffside Park and a parishioner of St. Matthew's R.C. Church. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Albanese). Cherished son of Lorraine and the late Norman Parent. Devoted father of Diana and Norman Parent. Loving brother of Scott Parent, Marc Parent, Lauri Wikow and Kim Devoto. The family will receive their friends on Saturday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library." The funeral will leave Monday at 9:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. Michael R.C. Church, Palisades Park at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, New Jersey Chapter, and P.O. Box 214, Elizabeth, NJ 07207. It was impossible to make the funeral. I regret that very much. I hope to be able to stop by and pay my respects to you personally in the future.
Norman was a very important part of my early life and now that he is gone I know he realizes that if there is a God.
In the meantime my symparhy and respect go out to you and your family. You did a great job all these years. Norman was lucky to have you at his side. May he rest in peace and may you sometime soon find rest and tranquility in your life and the future it has in store.
