Josephine DeCristofaro Obituary
Josephine (nee Piccinich), 51, of Bergenfield passed away February 17, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones at Hackensack University Medical Center. Josephine was welcomed into this world on September 2, 1961 in Hoboken, New Jersey.
As a devout catholic, cherished daughter, beloved sister, adored mother, and dear friend she will be greatly missed.
Josephine is survived by her three children, Jacob, Nadine, Joseph; as well as loving father Stefano Piccinich, sister Mattea Truppe and husband Robert, brothers John Piccinich and wife Susan, and Dominic Piccinich and wife MaryJane as well as step sister Elenore and husband Nick. Josie is welcomed into heaven with open arms by her mother Mary Piccinich, as well as many loving friends and relatives.
Josie loved to travel with family and friends. She was interested in the arts and was creative in her own right. She was a Columbiette of St. Johns Knights of Columbus Council #1345.
The funeral mass will be offered Friday, February 22, 2013, 10 AM, St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will welcome friends Thursday, February, 21, 2013, 2-5 and 7-9 PM at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. In lieu of flowers, donations to her children are greatly appreciated.

Mattea, I always think back at the time we went to the big opening for Meldisco and they had all this food and Josie said I love this ethnic food as she was eating some Jewish food and I remember saying "Never thought of Jewish food being Ethnic" I love you and I am praying for peace for you all.

I am at a loss for words. My heartfelt sympathy & prayers to Jake, Nadine, Joey, Mr. P, Mattea, John, Dominick & your families. God took another angel to heaven. Godspeed Josie. I love you guys.
