I miss just talking about Paterson past. There is a lot not written down. I miss how we both believed that we were related. I miss our talks about happy times and always a kind word never a unkind thought or word. A true friend.
Always in our thoughts,

I met Pat only three times twice in New York and at Michael and Crystle Brook's wedding. He always made me feel special. Now he is with God.

Although I had not seen Pat in many years, the fond memories of his sharp wit and realistic idealism impacted me greatly. Mostly, he was always looking out for me offering gentle advice.

As a member of the Passaic County History and Tourism Board, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Pat Di Ianni. A true champion of the preservation of local history. Pat will be truly missed. My sympathy goes out to his family.

My family will forever miss our dear friend. How he talked about Italy and would tell everyone we were related because of the town we shared in Italy. It was always a wonderful time laughing, talking and just listening to Pat when we were together. I will miss Pat but will continue to remember our time together and continue to share our love for Paterson and Mercolino.

My sincere sympathy to the DiIanni family. I have had the honor of working with Mr. DiIanni for 42 years. He will be greatly missed, but his smile and upbeat attitude will always be part of our office. RIP Mr. DiIanni, now God's angel.
