Amber Smith Obituary
BALTIC – Amber Grace Smith 7, of Baltic died Monday evening December 17, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Norwich on October 4, 2011 the daughter of Matthew J. and Caron (Chartier) Smith. Amber was currently in second grade at St. Joseph School in Baltic. Besides her mother and father, she is survived by two sisters: Marie and Brianna Smith and one brother: Ryan Smith all living at home, her maternal grandparents: Mark and Marie Chartier of No. Franklin, her paternal grandparents: Timothy and Theresa Smith of Norwich, uncles and aunts: Mark and Meg Chartier of Baltic, Keith and Melanie Chartier and their children Noah and Autum of Conroe, TX. She was predeceased by one Uncle Ned Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church in Baltic, meeting directly at church. Burial will be private. Calling hours at the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B St., Taftville will be Friday from 5-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Joseph School, 10 School Hill Rd., Baltic, CT 06330 or to Ct. Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.

The family pictures, the sweet touches of purple and of butterflies were precious, sweet memories of Amber Grace. To stand in that line must have felt so surreal and I would of felt the urge to run. I know it must have been so hard. I'm glad you have good family and faith in God and strong support in the community to pull you up during this time. Love to you all
