Lawrence Weakley Obituary
A funeral service will be held at Front Royal Baptist Temple on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor David Martin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22032.
Larry was born April 15, 1955, in Arlington, VA, son of the late Robert E. Lee Weakley and Erma Virginia Wymer Weakley.
He worked for many years as a groundskeeper at Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by seven brothers, Robert, Eugene, Doug, Alan, Gary, Kenny, and Jimmy; six sisters, Virginia Lentz, Pat Arnold, Betty Altizer, Mary Weakley, Barbara Tennis, and Dorothy Potter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, William Weakley.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Weakley, Gary Weakley, Jeremy Weakley, John Altizer, Doug Weakley, John Turner, and Ben Stanley.
Honorary pallbearer will be Kenny Weakley.
Arrangements are by Maddox Funeral Home, Inc. in Front Royal.

Im gonna miss Larry. He became a friend of Glenn and I. Even tho I am not at the Auto Glen anymore, I was devastated to hear the bad news. My heart and prayers go out to your family in this time of need.
