James Proctor Obituary

On Feb. 14, 2010, James L. Proctor, went to be with his Lord after a brief illness.
James was born on Aug. 9, 1932. He was a retired master sergeant in the Air Force and retired civil service. After retiring he became a substitute teacher and helped coach Niceville High School football. He loved sports and played golf at Eglin and enjoyed fishing.
He will be great missed by his family and friends who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Eloisa Proctor. Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Richard Mason of Niceville, Fla.; daughter, Sharon Proctor of Macon, Ga.; sister, Diane Proctor of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; and two grandsons, James Richard Mason and Joshua Dean Mason of Niceville.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow with military honors in Heritage Gardens Cemetery. You may sign a guest book and offer the family condolence awww.heritagegardensfuneralhome.com. Heritage Gardens Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
