Bill impacted Mchenry County in so many ways and we want to thank you and your family for sharing him with us. McHenry County EDC was fortunate to have his leadership and support on many issues, especially transportation. He will be remembered as the road warrior and true leader he was.

I was saddened to hear of Bill's death. Caught many of us off guard. He was always so full of life. Got to know Bill covering the county board. He was a consensus-builder, a voice of reason seasoned with common sense and tempered with humor. He will be missed. My condolences to Joyce and his family.

I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing. My fondest memory of Bill is when I danced with him at Mary's wedding and I told him he made me feel like I was Ginger Rogers and he was Fred Astaire, so after that when I would see him at City Hall he would call me Ginger and I would call him Fred. Then when I rode on the City float in the parade and they would announce who was on the City float they referred to me as Ginger. It is funny how recently I told that story to someone. Such a nice man and I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
