Marion Shoemaker Obituary

MARION E. SHOEMAKER FORMERLY HEPP (NEE ROBERTS) Marion E. Shoemaker, formerly Hepp (nee Roberts), passed away October 6, 2008. She is survived by two sons: Donald (Martha) Hepp of AR and Doug (Tina) Hepp of Schererville, IN; three stepdaughters: Beverly (Lou) Sardian of Valparaiso, IN, Kimberly Kamradt of FL and Lee Ann Hollenbach of GA; three grandchildren: Randy (Kathleen) Hepp of Demotte, IN, Cheryl (Ron Stalan) Hepp of Germany and Tiffany Hepp of Portage, IN; two nephews: David (Paula) Wells of Schererville, IN and Raymond (Joyce) Wells of CA. Preceded in death by husbands: William "Shoe" Shoemaker and Al Hepp. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN with Pastor Rob Lemon officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Marion was retired from National Tea Company after 25 years. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.

Doug, We have nothing but love and respect for your mom, Marion. When Mike first joined the Shriners it was kinda hard fitting in, but Shoe & Marion always included us in their circle. Marion was a beautiful, kind hearted soul, and a good friend. We're going to miss her.
