Clinton Faller Obituary

CLINTON STERLING FALLER HOBART, IN Clinton Sterling Faller, age 23, of Hobart, born September 5, 1985, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009. A loving Godfather to his nephew, Gabriel, Clinton embodied kindness in his treatment of children and animals alike. His faith was evident in his forgiving nature and his gentle demeanor. Protective and compassionate, Clinton will be greatly missed by those who loved him best. Clinton is survived by his grandmother, Mary Peters (nee Hare); his mother, Ellen Kimberley Peters; his father, Mitchell Faller; sisters: Christine (Eric) Tanis and Nicole Faller; brothers: Jonathan and Justin (Laura Weber) Hook; uncle, Rick (Janet) Peters; cousins: Julie, Christopher and Sarah Peters, and Tristan Vittetoe; nephews: Alex Burr and Gabriel Munda; great uncle, Curtis (Rae) Hare; great aunt, Edith Peters; and closest friend, Joshua Lemlar. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Peters; uncle, Michael Peters; and stepfather, John Hook. A graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 2004, Clinton had a passion for drawing and filled countless sketchbooks with his handiwork. He was also a masterful cook and delighted in preparing meals for others. At the time of his passing, he was preparing for enlistment in the armed services, after which time he planned to pursue a career in graphic design. Words cannot convey the depth of the loss felt by Clinton's family and friends. Clinton will be remembered for his fierce loyalty and loving spirit. He was a remarkably kind man, generous, even when he had little of his own to give. He was a trusted confidant and counselor. He loved children and was greatly loved in return by them. Our loss is beyond measure. Throughout all, he is and forever will be truly loved and deeply missed. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Church, 10202 Broadway, Crown Point, with Pastor Gary Butler officiating. Interment at Maplewood Historic Cemetery, Crown Point. Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Monday, March 30, 2009, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. I am very sorry for your loss. I do not know your family and I knew Clinton a very short time but he was such a nice, helping person. He was always smiling and talked a lot about joining the military. He will be very missed. And I am just wondering if anyone knows what happened, he was so young.
