Nick Kelemen Obituary

NICK KELEMEN CROWN POINT, IN
Nick Kelemen, age 87, of Crown Point, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Lake County. He was a retired from the East Chicago Fire Department. Nick was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his son, Nick; brother, John; and parents: Mary and John Kelemen. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Emaline Kelemen; and his daughter, Pam (Peter) Baranyai, all of Crown Point. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity. www.burnsfuneral.com

Dear Emaline and Pam, Its been a long time and I want to express my condolences to you and your families on the passing of your husband and dad. Nick was a good man. I really enjoyed the few dinners we had with you and Nick and my mom and dad. Wish there had been more. May God bless. I found out yesterday that Nick had passed away. My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Kelemen and Pam. My prayers are with you. Mr. Kelemen was very kind to me as a child on good ol' Wegg Street when he would come to visit is mother (my neighbor).
