DONALD C. TREADWAY CHESTERTON, IN
Donald C. Treadway, Sr. 87, of Chesterton, passed away Monday, August 25th 2014. He was born February 15, 1927 in Hammond, the son of Oscar and Marie (Alexander) Treadway. Don was a carpenter and a member of Liberty Bible Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean (Bond) Treadway January 13, 2000 Surviving is his son, Donald C. (Laurie) Treadway, Jr.; daughters: Sheryl (Michael) Tomerlin, Donna (Larry) Grennes and Deb (Jim Denney) Davis; grandchildren: Jim and Chris Tomerlin, Patrice Snead, Tiffany Sisneras, Danny and Dustin Treadway, Ryan Grennes, Tim Whiteside and Tammy Greenbaum; 16 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and two brothers: Frank of Virginia Beach, VA. and Jack of South Bend, IN. His parents, a brother Gene and a sister Dorothy Whelan also preceded him in death Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso, Pastor Bob Nieman officiating. Burial in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2014, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 2401 Valley Dr. Valparaiso, IN 46383. www.bartholomewnewhard .com
