WALTER MCCANN Obituary
Died peacefully at home on July 17, 2017, age 80. After a distinguished career in education, he retired to Chapel Hill, NC. He is survived by his wife, Alba, his daughter Yanira, granddaughter Micaela and son-in-law Laurent de Posson, as well as friends around the world. Alba, Yanira dos mujeres ejemplares que yo adoro con toda la adoración que existe en mi alma, cuánto siento la final despedida de este mundo de Walter, Mi cariño y admiración por Walter serán eternos. Yo siempre lo recordaré con mucho agradecimiento por la gran persona que siempre fue, igual que tú Alba a quien siempre consideraré mi "Amiga de mi alma ". Tú, Walter y Yanira vivirán en mi corazón por siempre!

To the McCann Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
